Hi!
          The part no is ...2448849 for the variable speed. The parts book
does not distinguish between manfacturers.
Also, when testing a common mistake is not to ground the switch case to the
car body , If you let the switch "hang" below the dash (ungrounded) by the
wires , the motor will not vary in speed and will not park when the switch
is moved to the "off" position.Always ensure that the motor housing and
switch case are connected through "ground" via the car body.

 Does anybody have  the part number for the  variable speed wiper from a
 64 Polara?  I want to make sure i have with the right unit before I
 waste anymore time.
   Was there more than one vendor for the wiper motors in 64 , because i
   have two wiper motors that I pulled from 64 Polaras , & though they
   look similar at first glance,  upon closer inspection, they arent.
   One says Leece Neville , the other doesnt say any manufacturer name.
