Hi
Well ....don't shoot yourself , if you do that the car won't get fixed
....major bummer!
I've repaired small little "rusties " like that by sand blasting the area
with a hand held spray gun style blaster fashioned a small patch and brazed
it in. I've ground the brazing down with a dremel and simply primed and
painted afterward. You can't braze on outside panels 'caused brazing doesn't
hold filler. Just watch the heat.

Please does anybody know how a windshield window troughcan be
repaired . Popped the front windshield in the 64 polara yesterday, yep
u guessed it,a slit of rust in the window trough big enough to drop a
quarter in to. Ran over to chek the other polara I have, ten times
worse, troughs completely gone. Short of buying yet another Polara,(
which would probably have the same problem once i got it home thanks
to Oregons monsoon winters) what can be done. Could a guy fashion
that section of trough and weld it in?
Should I shoot myself?
