The dual master cylinder from the 67-68 will bolt right onto your booster
with no modifications.
A drum master uses a different bore piston then a disc due to the different
amounts of fluid and pressure used in each type of system. A proportioning
valve will not ajust these amonts for you.
Master cylinders are not expensive. Be safe. Install a drum master now. When
you are ready to change over to disc's get the correct master cylinder.
It's not worth pinching pennies when your life is on the line, as well as
your passengers and people around you. A fifty buck master cylinder looks pretty
cheap when compared to an accident.
