The pittman arm on the 66-67 is getting hard to find and more expensive. The K-member change moves the engine back about 1-1/2 inches. It does help weight transfer some. I did it on my 63 Savoy about 13 years ago. To me, the main advantage is that after the change, you can use the newer style musclecar headers and oil pan, like a Road Runner, etc. which are easier to find. The change is a easy one and very little has to be done to the transmission tunnel, just two well placed dents where the servos get close. And the transmission mount has to be modified.(also easy).
