Yes, I was told for 65 they were only on 426 cars, rare parts.
My car is not an original max wedge so no factory parts.

64 and 65 sway bars are kind of a strange set-up. They securely clamp to
the strut rods and the middle links to the K Frame. I don't know how Addcos
or other aftermarkets are secured. I found my sway bar when I drove from VA
to OH to buy a set of Coronet 500 buckets for my 65 440. Guy was showing me
the 65 426 wedge car he was parting out. It had a factory sway bar so he
pulled it and I bought it. I don't think they are all that common.

Dave: One of the things I've always wanted to do is put sway bars on. Fronts were all I was interested in. My 64 Belv and my 65 Belv2. Where did you get the bars? Links? Brackets? How much work was it? Can I do it on a pair of jack stands? Are there real benefits for a daily driver for rears? Inquiring minds (with damage) want to know.

All the 64 64 b-body sway bars will work on the cars. some of the new sway bars that are being sold now will not work as they are made for the 66 and after b bodies Dave O
