1 US Gallon equals  = 0.8327 imperial gallon 

1 imperial gallon equals 1.2009 US gallons.

The 15 imperial gallon tank is 18 US Gallons.

The one I got from Quanta Products is the 15 Imperial gallons. I even  
e-mailed them about it. Still don't know what that equates to in US
gallons. I'm sure they have one for the 65 Coronet. 
Mine fit just like the original one.
