  I'm not sure what paint will stick to the plastic, maybe Model paint, 
One shot enamal, or vynle paint.
You could sand and fill with a base color till smooth and then apply 
your faux finish.
Maybe use a dremmel tool in the tight areas? Let me know how it turns 
out there's
some areas in my wagon that I'd like to do in a faux finish.
