Hey, guys,

A few months ago I posted a query that my 1964 poly 318 balancer had no 
timing mark.  Well, I decided you guys can't be wrong, it has to have 
one.  I cleaned it with degreaser and scrubbed it, still no mark.  Then, 
I got emery cloth and, little by little, cleaned it to shiny bare metal, 
and there it was.  However, it was barely etched on there, and I still 
would have missed it had it not had a faint "0" next to it.  One coat of 
spray paint and it will be gone again.

Question:  Is this factory?  In all my life the mark was a deep groove.  
Just curious!
