I have a '66 alternator that came on the Max Wedge engine I bought.  I 
think that the pulley is correct for a Max Wedge engine, because it's 
5.5" in diameter with a deep belt groove.  The top of the pulley is 
chipped, but I think a good welder could fix it pretty easily.  If 
someone could use an alternator pulley like this, please contact me off 
line...Brian
