I am not sure if I understand your question, the k-member is the cross 
member. Or what are you referring to when you say cross member? The 
k-member is the big pan that holds the motor mounts, the torsion bars 
and the lower control arms. I am not trying to sound like an a-hole 
here, I just wanna make sure we are on the same page.

As for the 68-74 b-body k-member, i remember reading somewhere that they 
set the engine back an inch or two. I am not sure on this one. If you 
can find a 318 k-member for your car, Schumacher sells motor mount 
adapter kits.
