I don't know about convertibles, but my 63 sport fury has a machine turned
insert between the two trim strips that run down each side of the body. Now
the 64's I have seen have been painted, but I haven't ever seen a 63
painted.

My 63 Fury had a white stripe between the stainless strips to match the
roof colour.

The Sport Fury had solid trim instead of two parallel strips with the
painted center.
