The 2x6's are laid flat for a wide stable area on the floor and it does not move around at all and they take care of all the vibration and I have had mine mounted this way for 5 years with no problems and I use mine compressor a lot as I have a lot of different air tools. I do wood work also. I also did not want to drill my floor Walt ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert neal zimmerman" <northwestweirdo@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, December 17, 2004 9:15 PM Subject: mounting air compressor [AD removed for archives] ------------------------------------------------------------------- ** Get Your Own Support-a-Cure Yellow Bracelet for $1.99 ** Show your support for finding cures for both AIDS & Cancer.
