hiya ,
im thinking will be air in line , normal.  you would have to have a check 
valve in line ahead of filter to stop air , right ?   the fuel pump cant stop 
fuel from returning down line when engine is off. the carb fuel bowl   is lower 
than inlet line so gas stays in carb, but fuel pump just has a diaphram , fuel 
will drain back , nothing to stop it . you agree?
