 Primer in a spray can from Walmart is not good. If you don't use an Epoxy,
or two part primer, you will not be protecting your parts from moisture.
It takes three things to form rust - FEO2 - Iron, water, oxygen. Regular
- one part - primer actually attracts moisture and will promote rust. So
unless you
use a professional product, "It Ain't Going To Happen Baby". Self etching
products in a spray can will work, but you still need to seal them with
a two part primer. Buy a cheap spray gun from Harbor freight, or a good
150.00 one, and learn to paint. It is not very hard. At first it is quite
intimidating, but that goes away quick.
