My brother has a Hays behind his dual quad 440, and if you launch it hard (with street tires no less), it will slip like butter.

I've had good luck with a Hays street strip performance kit behind my 383
magnum and four speed IN A STATION WAGON! That puts a lot more load on the
clutch, and I've had it in there all summer hammering it every chance I
can get and I still haven't stripped the disk. Just make sure that you
update the adjusting assembly. Mine kept pushing the nut through the cheap
washers and I had to go get some fairly thick ones from a hardware store.
It does this because the clutch is a lot stiffer than a regular one, to be
expected.

Would anyone have any recommendations for a clutch/pressure plate/throwout
bearing set? Where to buy? Would be behind a LA motor (either 318 or
340) with a 65 833 transmission going into a 65 Barracuda or Valiant
convert. Thanks in advance.
Don
