I have read countless success and horror stories concerning these LCA poly bushings, the arguments running about fifty-fifty. With that kind of split, I was worried enough to put standard rubber bushings there. I did use poly bushings for the upper control arms and strut rods. When done, with fifteen-inch radials and no sway bars, my 1964 Fury handled so well I was stunned. If I might make another recommendation, I took the time to install new torsion bars and disc brakes at the same time. It gets to be expensive, but I had the front end ripped out for the rebuild, so now was the time. I didn't want to do it all at once, but this way I don't have to take it apart again in the future.
