I'd suggest that you listen to Don Dulmadge (and maybe me), go with a Racer Brown STH-42 Cam, you'll never look back. STH-42 specs 254° @ .050", .525" lift. Very fast lift (the ".509" cam lobes look rounded compared to the STH-42 lobes (very sharp ramp, nice wide spot on the top, if that means anything). Call Jim a racer Brown 410.866.7660.
He's a Mopar guy and very sharp. He's there 2-9pm Mon-thur, some Saturdays 2-5pm, he will NOT answer the phone if he's grinding a cam.

While we are on the "cam subject" I have and was going to use the 509 cam in my 440.I don't want to have to "lash" the valves every week.
The 440 is .030" over 12:5:1 JE Pistons 68 915 heads,ported and a 63 crossram with vintage "small" carbs, 4:56 gear 3000 stall converter.
Any comments on this combination or has anyone used a similar combination? What kind of et's can be expected? 11:50's?
