Heck man, I have a Mercedes - A 95 SS Impala - and they both sit outside while the Dart - Belvedere and the 67 Dodge truck are in the garage. You have to get your car priorities straight. <;-) Earl Well this car is a funny story. It came to me from a co-worker who has had it in her garage for 20 years. The 20 years before that it belonged to her dead aunt, who also garaged and babied it. Its got 34k original miles on it, and is in excellent shape (except it seems for every leather/rubber seal on the thing is going!). I got her to sell it to me for about $1200 and I've since located a 225 with 14k miles on it that I am going to use as my "mild" build engine. This is the first time I've ever really messed with cars other than repairing them, so I'm very excited. While the /6 parts are more expensive than the V8, harder to find, etc etc I just didn't want to get in so deep that I needed to replace everything to put in a larger engine. So I'm sticking with the stock /6, and then putting a few fun upgrades in it. My other problem is a serious lack of space. We have a 1 car garage that is reserved for our brand new Passat, so I have the Lancer stored at a friend's house 20 mins away. While I can work in his garage, I dont have the space for storing a lot of spare parts. But I'm learning a ton, and with the help of people here and slantsix.org I'm getting what I need. If you want to see pictures of what I've got, you can see them at http://tinyurl.com/69dls Thanks again guys! Also anyone in Central Ohio that can clue me in to parts and yards I'd appreciate hearing from you!
