It kind of depends on the mix of the auction crowd. Sometimes an
auction happens when people who may seriously want to buy a vehicle
are occupied elsewhere and miss the auction. Other times a couple
people really want the vehicle and at the closing auction clock start
bidding against one another an drive the auction price up. Etc.

 Here this seller had tried to auction his 1964 with 39,950 actual
miles previously with a reserve that was higher than the top bid,
which was $18,250. So 'no sale' happened and he decided to try again
with a no reserve, sold to the highest bidder, in this auction which
got to $22,000.

 It seems a nice 1964 and in some other setting it may sell for more
that $22K.

 That's my 2 cents. :)
