I hhave been lead to believe that drum brakes hold better at a stop 
while disc brakes slow down a car better while moving. Therefore I kinda 
like the front disc, rear drum combo as the best of both worlds. I feel 
it may hold better on a steep hill at a stop with the rear drum and I 
know the front discs sure feel better for stopping than the old drums 
did.
