It sounds like a Mopar heavy duty air conditioning pump. 
They do work very well.

Just wondering if you all  might know something about this. I'm currently
using a water pump that came off of an unknown engine. It is a high
performance 8-blade big block pump such as that you would get from Mopar
Performance, but it is not aluminum, it is cast iron. Works just as well,
and I even think that it absorbs some more of the vibration than an aluminum
one. Could be wrong there. But I was wondering what era this might be a
stock water pump or if it were a very common thing. The pump my motor came
with was  a very shot large bladed six blade. My motor is out of an early
