You would be surprised at the power that these /6s put out.  I run one in my 
86 Van and it does just fine.  I pull my car trailer loaded with a car, and 
while not real fast it does the job.  A 65 b body would work just great.  I 
had a 65 Ply with slant 6 and it worked great.
