HVLP's are the only way to go. I have never used the Wagner system your
talking about but I do body work and use HVLP's all the time they are easy
to use and can spray a lot of paint at low air pressure. Suggestion, just
practice with it on a test panel first. Are you painting the whole car body
or just parts of the car? What kind of paint were you planning on using?
Let me know what your application would be and I would be glad to make some
suggestions.

Anybody have much experience with HVLP's.??
To my amazement I just found out yesterday that a house painter
buddy of mine has had an HVLP for a couple years that he bought for
spraying cabinets and intricate woodwork in houses. Its a Wagner he
bought at the local Benjamin Mooore outlet for about 700 bucks. It
has its own built in compressor.
He assures me with the right tip u could easily and nicely shoot a
car, and hes willing to loan it to me for free.
So who knows about these HVLP's and do u think it would work.Or
would it not ?
