I've used lumiweld rods several times to repair pot metal emblems, and if careful can even make new mounting pins using the weld rod itself as the pin. Have to be careful to not overheat the part because it will melt just a little hotter than the rod, I like using one of those little butane torches for small work. You'll read a lot on the web about how it doesn't work, etc, I'm just saying I've used it a bunch successfully. http://virtual-adnet.com/
