On the 63 Dodge, I bought that fibreglass hump about 3 or 4 years
ago, before the steel repro came out. If I had the steel one, I'd
just weld it in. with the fibreglass one, I've decided that i might
replace it with the steel one, so I'm going to try a bolt-in
arrangement, with 4-6 bolts holding it to the floor and weather
strip sealing it. I'm not sure if the weatherstrip I have now is the
one I'm going to use, it may be too thick. Its a GM weatherstrip
of some sort, produced by Steele or Metro (I picked it up in a box
of odd weatherstriping, all new, from a bankruptcy sale at a body
shop). It'll be handy to be able to remove it to service the
tranny. I may install it over the floor covering, I haven't decided.
If I decide to install it under the floor covering, I'll probably
skip the weatherstrip and use seam-sealer to seal it (still opting
to use bolt with clip/nut fasteners).

On my 64 Dart, first, I used a fibreglass hump, and duct taped it to
the floor. the hump was a good fit and didn't even break loose
or flop around, and being able to remove it to service the tranny
has been helpful. at this time, I had no floor covering in the car.
when I got rubber mat floor covering, I swapped the fibrelgass unit
out for a factory steel unit and used seam-sealer and pop-rivets to
seal and secure it to the floor. since then I've bought a Millermatic
135 MIG welder, so when I re-do it (if I redo it) I'd weld it this time.

the only method of securing the hump I haven't tried is to fibreglass
	it into place!
