 OK maybe I stepped in it with using plastic pipe.Here is what I did though.... I used a big hydraulic hose( rated at 2500 psi) between the compressor and the main air line. It is firmly clamped to the wall with a clamp and lag bolts.The outlet of the system gois directly to the water seperator/filter that is at the other end of the shop. It is firmly bolted to the wall as well.I had heard the stories of broken pipes so any place you plug in a hose is ROCK SOLID. Never been a problem in 10 years. I was cautioned to clean and glue the joints very carefully as a bad slice is a weak link.  Stan
