I was wondering if tapping and installing threaded plugs in the core plug
holes add any significant strength to the block, or is this just done to prevent
the factory plugs from coming out from coolant pressure and/or the block
flexing? My plumber brother has the taps, so I guess it's a matter of is it
really beneficial? I could tap the head core plugs also. Any racers out there
doing this? Joe "I'm not a Doctor, but I'll take a look" ;-)
