BTW, the MP distributor is made by Mallory, and there is a Mallory tech that
fields questions over at http://www.moparts.com.  I had one of the dists
that wouldn't turn, and he filled me in on how to find and fix the roll pin
that wasn't fully inserted.

Hope Moparts does you better than a a buddy of mine ran into from a
local Dodge dealer.

He bought a Mopar Performance electronic item through that dealer. The
part was defective out of the box but the dealer said, in effect "too
bad, no warranty on Mopar Performance stuff sold."
