I removed my remote mirror for the body work. It's not that difficult a job to R&R it. Get an Apple iBook for free! caadtaHb7B6Msa/Amazing Computer ------------------------------------------------------------------- I am currently stripping the body on my 64 Fury convertible and doing all the needed body work, getting it ready for paint. My idea is to go with a clone type 426 wedge with crossram exhaust, and intake. I am not looking for a 100% exact clone, but want something somewhat decent. My dilemma is what to do with the factory outside mirrors. The convertible has mirrors on both fenders, since it is a convertible. I am almost sure those will be removed and saved. The smaller cable controlled mirror on the drivers door is also original. Do I leave it on the car or remove it also? What do you guys think I should do with the 3 mirrors? Take all of them off, or what? Many pics of these era cars in the books show them with no mirrors. Others show the little mirror on the door left. Would the car look cleaner and more like a max wedge car with all mirrors removed? Is it legal in most states to not have outside mirrors? I appreciate all feedback from the group.
