i got the universal lower brackets off this weekend as they wouldn't work because of the sway bar hitting the strut rods. i made a set of L brackets out of heavy 3" angle iron and bolted it to the lower control arm with an longer bolt through the lower shock hole. bolted it up and tested it yeaterday. WOW what a differance in cornering. I should have done this long ago. the only problem i had was when drilling holes into the K-frame, the last hole i was drilling was giving me some trouble and i was pushing real hard and it went through the K-frame and quickly located the lower rad hose. with fluid flowing all over me and my drill and down the driveway. i tossed the drill and got a bucket real quick and saved the environment from further torture. got it all back together (new hose and all) and started cornering and cornering like a dream. Thanks for all your help. I'm going to keep an eye on the brackets till I'm sure they are safe and functioning properly. Now for a rear sway bar!!!
