I agree with the gasser comment, I've got our Duster up like that to buy some header clearance under the car. :-) It looks like it's moving even sitting still. -- Bob Inscoe Huntington, WV ----- Original Message ----- From: <Skagdrager@xxxxxxx> To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, May 11, 2005 6:19 PM Subject: Adjusting front suspension height [AD removed for archives] ------------------------------------------------------------------- Sign up today for a No Annual Fee Discover Platinum Card and get. 0% Intro APR on Purchases & Balance Transfers for 8 Months, Up to 2% Cashback Bonus reward on your purchases & 100% fraud protection. caadtrVbOPmEKa/DiscoverCard ------------------------------------------------------------------- Just had my front end aligned and I thought I'd double check what I could, to see if they got it close (as it still feels a little funny when cornering). The manual says the difference in height between the lowest point on the adjusting blade and the lowest point on the steering knuckle arm should be 1 3/4". My problem is that the lowest point on the steering knuckle arm is a Zerk fitting, and even then the difference is only 1 3/8" (the lowest on the arm itself is even less). Can anyone tell me, do you count the Zerk fitting or not? If you measure to the Zerk my adjustment is a little off; if you don't count the Zerk my adjustment seems to be way out! Can anyone help me? Thanks for any help.
