I was considering this delema myself. I just read an old post from Bob Hokanson saying that Frank Adkins from his book on Chrysler Performance upgrades states the Type F fluid isn't "slippery" enough for our 727's and will shorten the life of the front clutch pack and hamper performance. It says Dexron or Dexron II is the right stuff. My trans rebuilder sent me a note with my receipt saying he recommends Type F. Hummmm, which way do I go? I remember someone saying that Mobil One was what they used. Shall we thrash this again? I gotta decied too.
