Saw a Barracuda at a cruise this weekend, it had a 440 w/ Eddy heads - and a
Performer intake w/ an Eddy carb.  I didn't get details but I bet it had
stock low-comp pistons too.  Beautiful car, sounded nice, but that's not
what moves the car down the road.  He left a lot of power on the table with
the mismatched parts.

But - the owner had painted the intake up so it was sparkly and had in the
Edelbrock script on the heads with orange paint.  I guess you have to have
priorities. :-)

Much like the stock engined cars that run MSD boxes - buddy can you float me
a loan?  You must have money to burn. :-)

I think the current trend is to throw parts at a car rather than plan out
what you really want from it in the first place.  That's why I always root
for
the guy with the duct tape numbers on his car.  He didn't waste $$$ on
paint
