I thought window glass was pretty strong, too, until 2 years ago when I 
stripped a 65 Coronet 500 and layed the glass on the trunk on a blanket. 
Came out 2 days later and the winshield was broke in half from it's own 
weight! Guess I should have layed it face up instead of down.
