I've looked at that myself.  I have a '65 Belvedere 2 convertible, which I 
hear is rare.
It has a split bench in front.  I think the Satellites were the only ones 
offered with buckets and obviously floor consoles.
Maybe one of the historians on the list will reply to this.  I'm just going 
off the owners manual and factory service manual.
Belv1, then Belv2, then Satellite is my recollection as to level of trim.

If the Belvedere is the next trim level down from the Satelite, I would
guess buckets were not available in that trim line.  Same went for the
Coronet 440 series - bench only.  Because my rear seat upholstery is shot
and no one is reproing upholstery for a 65 Coronet 440 interior, I decided
to pull the bench and add 65 Coronet 500 buckets (and repro interior IS
available for it).
