The ongoing pursuit of getting my Cuda on the road has hit another small 
snag.  I got my leaking tank cleaned & repaired, found a new gasket and 
screen for the sending unit and apparently succeeded in 'damaging' the 
solder joint where the line feeds through the sending unit in the R&R 
process. :-(

The gasket seals and the solder joint seeps - NG, so ...

Who has tried the 'cold solder' I see advertised?  Is it at all feasible 
to siphon the fuel off enough to dry the joint out and "fix" this on the 
car?  The not lazy approach is to install a new sending unit, but I am 
still under time pressure.

Anyone?

p.s., The beast lives.  It now runs fine, but it would be more fun with 
fewer leaks.
