 ?  having never had a altered eng before I now have  426 wedge that have
been bored, 30over,11; 1,  has forged pstons, 284 hemi cam, original dist
duel points runs fine but on hard accel it pings, am having trouble setting
the timing so that it does not ping or the other way does not run hot.  Was
told by the builder that I need to run at full 34 degree all the time with
out the vac hose hooked up. do I have to change the springs in the dist.
can I put on thicker head gaskets and lower the comp. any help from those
who have done it before would be apprec.  also does anyone have a 22" fan
shroud that they can part with  Dave O
