I am posting this message again due to the problems that have occurred with 
messages on the board.  Thanks to all who responded directly to me.  This 
will be on a 1963 SF, I also have black aluminum valve covers that will 
need to be media blasted and refinished.

I have a aluminum intake manifold that was painted black.  I'm going to 
have it media blasted to remove the old paint.  After it has been cleaned 
is there a good clear coat that will work on the aluminum or would it be 
better to paint it engine color.
