I put a set of the 3400 in mine and thewy work good although they wouldnt suffer from a bit more stiffness. I am thinking of replacing the second leaf down on both sides with a identical one in 5/16s  We often do this on our race set ups to tune the spring right in and I rthink it would help these . having said all that i passed 25000 miles of driving last week with these with no problems. oh yeah car is a 63 Dodge  426 MW
