The first two are Max Wedge engines (different compression ratios), the third is the Hemi and the last is the single 4bbl Street Wedge.

Was the Street Wedge released after the Hemi replaced the Max Wedge or was it available from the start of the model year?

According to Galen Govier's "Production Option Code" book, there were 4 different 426's put in '64 Plymouths.

426 - 415hp MP
426 - 425hp MP (before May1)
426 - 425hp H (after May1)
426 - 365hp HP

Was one the Hemi and one the Max Wedge? Which ones?

Do these engines look different from one another? Paint colors?

Isn't there a book on large block Mopar engines?

Thanks!
