I used M & R Transport out of LA. I had a 65 Dart station wagon shipped
from LA to just outside DC for $850 with $200 up front and the balance upon
delivery. Don't have their number handy but if you look up transportation
vendors on the list site, you should find them.

I've had good luck twice with AutoTransportDirect.com. You can get a
quote instantly on line without filling out anything or giving them
your email or anything. They keep $150 up front when you commit, they
find a driver coming your way in week or so, and you give the driver
the balance when it's delivered. One car was $600 from Michigan to
Long Island, NY, and the other was $800 from Wisconsin to LI.
