 I'm a '43 vintage too. I was lucky enough to be around So-Cal in the 
60's and spent time at Lion's dragstrip. Even got to run my '59 Fury and 
then my '64 Dodge 330 there. Very cool. My favorite was when I got lined 
up in a heads up race with a blown '62 Vette with a solid front axle. I 
beat him to the timing tower but it was all taillights after that point. 
I can't wait to get back and make a few runs with my dual-quad poly.

About the future of my '64 I'm gonna be a Grandpa of twins next Feb.. My 
son, 37, isn't into cars. He thinks they're transportation!!!! Yikes. I 
sure hope at least one of the twins will like the car or I may have to 
adopt one of you guys.
