for whats its worth, i ran 4" backspaced 15x8" on my 65 Belv II with 275/60 15 tires.
that fit with room to spare, i think you could go to 295s.


in the 63 its an inch narrower(is that a word) and the same tires really should have a 3.75 to 3.875 backspace. its rather close to the leafs with the 4" BS.

Does anyone know what the maximum width is I can get for my 64 and 65 B bodies for the rears and fronts with no tubbing or cutting?
I've got stock 14's (Yoko Avia P205-70/R14) now on both cars (cahs) but I'd like to go to 15's and get some width with new steel wheels and poverty caps.
I'm interested in how much backspacing I can have without contact or rubbing.
What are you guys running? I'd ideally like 15x7 on the rear and 15x5.5 on the front and some nice TA's.
