HI Don Wynne, i have a 63 spt vert 440 with max manifolds also. the offset brkt for the master cylinder
does not seem to work for a dual master cylinder. i have seen cars with a dual master
bolted directly to the firewall but it puts the master really close to manifold.
kramer in ohio makes a heat shield for the stock master cyldr. sometimes my
brakes get weak when my master cylinder gets too hot. i have heard that
having the manifolds heat coated, like headers, will really help.

I took my 64 Poly apart and have most of the parts off it. It had power steering
so I'm sure I have the brackets. I haven't had time yet to get things cleaned up
but I do have an almost new clutch fan I'll sell right now. I'd like to get the
rest of the parts cleaned up before I advertise them. I'm keeping the crank as
I'm informed by Mr. Pavlovich that it has the same measurements as a 340.
I still have the block and heads but they are sitting in a field right now.
Gary, are you still interested in the cam that cam out of the motor?
The motor mounts are like new also along with the pan, valve covers etc. I plan
on trying to get things cleaned up by next week If anyone is interested, e-mail
me offline and tell me what you need off the motor. We can work out a deal.

hello , i have same car as you , same engine and trans . i had same trouble ,
i took water hose and flushed it good thru the gooseneck . i drained it first
at bottom hose , then replaced bottom hose , filled engine with solution of
drain cleaner and water. i then started engine let run few minutes and flushed
. i was amazed at the crude that come out bottom hose , put a pan to catch
the water , you'll see what im talking about .
flush several times with water hose to clear up contaminates, it did the
trick for me .
i have a three core radiator , i bet yours is same .

I put studs in my heads on a 440 Block(500)w/original MW exhausts that I

talking about MW Exhausts on 440 block. how bout a dual master cylinder

wagon and we had to notch the K member on one side slightly...it was a 7 quart
