Take a look at the BFG's Scorcher. I put a set of 245/55/17 on a stock 65
Coronet rearend under the back of my 68 Cuda coupe and they fill it up just
right. I used 215/45/17 on the front. The Scorcher has 2 colored stripes in
the tread (different colors available) and racy looking tread pattern. Nice
looking tires. Got mine at the Tirerack.

After many years of a virtually stock ride, I'm doing some basic work on
the 'vert.  MP Electronic ignition, 4bbl w/ HP exhaust manifolds, Firm
Feel steering box and tubular upper control arms, and a 13" Viper disc
brake conversion from AR Engineering.  Because of the large rotors, I'm
committed to a 17" wheel.
Any suggestion on tires and sizes?  I don't mind running a bit larger in
the rear, but the wheels I'm using are 17x8.  (I've got a set of BFG TA
Radials on my C body and I like those) This can almost be a daily driver
here in CA, so I don't need M/S all weather or water fording capability.
;-)  Suggestions?
