I believe Schumacher Creative services makes LA and B/RB engine mount 
conversions for the Dak.

I would look for the early Dak myself, such as an 87-89, with a V-6, the 
trans would be able to bolt up, and should be an A999, which with the 
rigth mods should hanle a mild 360. The early OD trans need work to 
handle a decent 360, but would be another option. The early trucks have 
less of the engine control systems that the later Daks have, making the 
transformation easier.
