I just went out to check for an "arm check" on my 65 Coronet convert and I think you'll find it's built in as part of the upper door hinge. It's a wierd shaped rod on top of the hinge that allows the door to be opened part way or all the way without closing. It's present on my passenger door hinge and missing on the driver's door hinge. Driver's door will not stay open. Also shameless plug: My 65 Coronet 440 convert is for sale first to this list and then probably on eBay.

I need for the right door on my 65 Coronet a check arm. It appears to
be missing from the passenger side. It is a convertible and I am
wondering what you would call it in the original Chrysler parts book. I
can't find anytning under door check arm and I am wondering possibly if
anyone knows what it would be called. I am trying to search for one
using the original mopar part number and I am having no luck. Thanks
