I am not sure about 62-65 MoPars, but when I was growing up in Detroit, it was easy to spot a late 50's Plymouth from Windsor, because it had Dodge front sheetmetal, and the Dodges had Plymouth sheetmetal. Pontiacs looked strange because they were on a "non-wide-track" Chevy chassis. Ford pickups were tagged as Mercury.
Their beer was good though.
