Well, Tom, I wasn't planning on driving this car full time once I get my 77
Plymouth fury fixed (nice car, good interior, paint, 360 4 barrel, just
needs tranny) and I was seriously gonna do a job with this wagon. I'm going
to install a 66 sure grip rear, which will give me a bit more clearance for
some slicks, and some super stock springs along with a new cam to send me to
the 12s. I already have the carb, intake and heads, clutch and all that good
stuff. It just needs to be street able to the track and back (20 miles???).
Been looking at Racer Brown, and Lunati with a bit of drool on my chin. I've
also been thinking about taking it one more step old school: no electronic
ignition upgrades, just a dual point distributor and some good wires, and
plugs.

how about semi electronic a msd 6al being driven by the dual point dist this
will stop the burning of the points and give you tons of fire at the plugs
i've got this setup on my 440 and works great        tj
