Bob,
Kramers sells thick carb mounting gaskets for the Max Wedge engine, but 
I'm not sure that they will give you enough clearance with the carbs 
you're running.  I talked with a guy who ran those carbs on an original 
MW manifold, and he told me that he had the same problem.  He solved it 
by cutting off the portion of the carb linkage that was hitting on the 
manifold...Brian
